Rocky Harmon

Executive Director

Rocky Harmon has been the Executive Director of Vestavia Hills Soccer Club since 2007, bringing decades of experience and leadership to the organization. Before moving to Birmingham, Rocky served as the Director of Coaching at what is now NASA/TopHat in Atlanta for 17 years, shaping the development of countless players and coaches.

Rocky holds a USSF ‘A’ License and a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches, highlighting his dedication to coaching excellence. He was also the first U.S. Soccer staff coach to identify and select Clint Dempsey for a Regional Pool, where Rocky coached him for three years during his early development.

Rocky played at the University of Tampa, where he later returned as an assistant coach for two seasons. He also served as an assistant coach at West Virginia University for three years, further building his expertise at the collegiate level.

Rocky’s unparalleled experience, passion for soccer, and commitment to player development have made VHSC a leader in youth soccer.
